ALO PTFE JOINT SEALANT
ALO flange sealant adopts a new approach to sealing problems. It is an
extruded flexible PTFE cord which combines the properties of both
malleability and ruggedness, enabling it to be used in difficult sealing
applications. |

EASY TO USE |

Cut off a length of ALO from the
convenient dispenser reel just a little longer than the true
circumference of the seal. |

Press into position. The self
adhesive film on ALO makes this easy, even on vertical or
overhead surfaces. Difficult shapes, bends and uneven profiles
can be accommodated by utilizing the outstanding properties of
ALO |

Cross over the two ends with a
short overlap. |

Replace the other half of
sealing flange......tighten up......JOB DONE TO LAST.

 PTFE,
Teflon or polytetrafluoroethylene pipe thread tape makes it easy to
drive the male pipe deeper while filling minute gaps to prevent seepage.
Pipe thread tape also makes it easier to disassemble the joint later by
reducing thread galling, the tendency of some types of pipe threads to
stick together over time.
